Permanent numbering and documentation index for the audited Theory of Biblical Patterns challenge

304documented TBP requirements
14scientific-foreknowledge requirements
Permanent identifier policy. The currently documented requirements are numbered TBP-001 through TBP-304. The original identifiers TBP-001 through TBP-290 have not been changed. The fourteen scientific-foreknowledge requirements were added as TBP-291 through TBP-304.
Scope of the new requirements. These fourteen statements were selected from a larger online collection after duplicates, theological propositions, speculative interpretations, and scientifically weak claims were excluded. Each statement below is independently worded and deliberately limited to what the cited biblical text and present scientific evidence can reasonably support.

Scientific-foreknowledge requirements

These requirements compare specific biblical statements with established observations in public health, oceanography, astronomy, meteorology, and medicine. They concern correspondence and foreknowledge; they do not claim that the verses provide modern technical explanations or complete scientific theories.

IdentifierConcise titleFixed requirement statementBiblical reference
TBP-291Covered human wasteHuman waste is to be deposited outside the inhabited camp and covered with earth, a practice that reduces environmental contamination and disease transmission.Deuteronomy 23:12–13
TBP-292Springs beneath the seaThe text refers to springs or sources in the sea. Modern oceanography has confirmed that water issues from the seafloor through hydrothermal vents and submarine springs.Job 38:16
TBP-293Mountains beneath the seaThe description associates the depths of the sea with the bases of mountains. Modern mapping confirms extensive mountains, ridges, and volcanic formations on the ocean floor.Jonah 2:5–6
TBP-294A universe with a beginningThe universe is presented as having a beginning rather than as an eternally unchanging physical system, consistent with modern cosmology's conclusion that the observable universe developed from an early finite-age state.Genesis 1:1
TBP-295Paths of the seasThe seas contain established paths through which water moves, corresponding to the organized system of ocean currents recognized by modern oceanography.Psalm 8:8
TBP-296The water cycleWater is drawn upward, forms clouds, falls as precipitation, and returns by streams and rivers to the sea, describing the principal stages of the hydrological cycle.Job 36:27–28; Ecclesiastes 1:7
TBP-297The heavens stretched outThe heavens are repeatedly described as being stretched out. This imagery is compatible with the modern observation that the universe is expanding.Isaiah 42:5; Jeremiah 51:15; Zechariah 12:1
TBP-298Air has weightThe text assigns weight to the wind. Modern physics confirms that air has mass and therefore possesses weight in a gravitational field.Job 28:25
TBP-299Isolation of contagious diseaseA person showing signs of a potentially communicable disease is to live apart from the community until the condition no longer presents the specified danger, expressing the central principle of medical isolation.Leviticus 13:45–46
TBP-300Stars differ from one anotherStars are described as differing in glory. Astronomical observation confirms that individual stars differ in brightness, size, temperature, mass, composition, and life cycle.1 Corinthians 15:41
TBP-301Cheerfulness and healthA cheerful emotional state is associated with beneficial physical effects. Medical research finds that positive emotion and laughter can reduce stress responses and may support aspects of health.Proverbs 17:22
TBP-302Sorrow, stress, and healthSevere emotional distress is associated with diminished physical strength. Modern medicine confirms that acute or prolonged stress can adversely affect health, including cardiovascular function.Proverbs 18:14
TBP-303Celestial measures of timeThe regular motions and appearances of the sun, moon, and earth provide observable measures for days, seasons, and years and have long served as the basis of calendars.Genesis 1:14–16
TBP-304Protection from contaminated waterWater and containers that have contacted a dead animal are treated as contaminated and subject to restrictions or cleansing, consistent with protecting water supplies from biological contamination.Leviticus 11:33–36

How the first 100 map

Pattern 1 is TBP-001, Pattern 2 is TBP-002, and so on through Pattern 100 as TBP-100. Existing filenames remain show1.htm through show100.htm.

Example. TBP-033 corresponds to Pattern 33, which states that the traditional Hebrew value of Genesis 1:1 is 2701 = 37 × 73.

Required record for every TBP identifier

Numbering and revision rules

  1. Give every formal requirement one and only one permanent TBP identifier.
  2. Do not renumber existing requirements when a later collection is added.
  3. Do not count a duplicate, restatement, direct consequence, or complementary result as an independent requirement.
  4. Keep composite presentations together when their components depend on the same selected arrangement or intermediate values.
  5. Publish every input, procedure, control rule, and pass criterion before candidate testing.
  6. Mark unavailable, experimental, obsolete, duplicate, interpretive, or non-computational material honestly.
  7. Record substantive corrections as dated revisions instead of silently changing an identifier's meaning.
Formal-challenge safeguard. A challenger cannot fairly be required to satisfy an item whose definition is unavailable, ambiguous, duplicated, or changed after testing. Only the written definition published before the test controls the result.

What the totals establish

The number 304 records the current documented scope of the formal challenge. It is not a cumulative probability or a claim that every requirement is independent, equally strong, or individually improbable. Scientific evaluation must consider correctness, prior selection, dependencies, comparison populations, and reproducibility.
