Pattern 82 Three Tests of the Full Hebrew Position Number

Why this pattern matters

Unlike calculations that add the alphabet positions, this pattern preserves the position of every letter by concatenating all 28 Hebrew alphabet-position values in verse order. Three different divisors then produce quotients containing repeated arrangements of 37 and 73. Pattern 82 passes only when all three tests succeed.

How this pattern is measured

Read Genesis 1:1 in its normal Hebrew word and letter order, omitting spaces. Replace each letter with its position in the 22-letter Hebrew alphabet:

The resulting integer must pass all three tests implemented by pattern82.java. The program returns −1 when all three pass and 82 when one or more fail.

Test 1 - Concatenated verse references

The first divisor is formed by concatenating the chapter and verse numbers of Proverbs 29:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:20, and Psalms 39:9:

The calculation is:

The quotient begins with 737373737 and ends with 37.

Test 2 - Matthew 27:47 and 777

The second divisor is:

27 × 47 × 777 = 986013

The quotient ends in 373. Its digits total 146, which is:

146 = 2 × 73

The digits of the remainder total:

Test 3 - Biblical references and verse number 2937

The third divisor is constructed as follows:

83 × 307 × 787 × 2937 = 58897267539

Here, 307 represents Numbers 30:7, 787 represents Psalms 78:7, and 2937 identifies the stated sequential Bible verse.
