Pattern 12: The Four Remaining Words Contain Fourteen Letters

Pattern Statement:

The four words not included in the three-noun group—words 1, 2, 4, and 6—contain exactly 14 letters combined. Therefore, their combined letter count is evenly divisible by 7.

Text being tested

בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ

The highlighted text contains words 1, 2, 4, and 6—the four words outside the three-noun group.

The calculation uses the traditional Masoretic Hebrew consonantal text shown above. Vowel points, cantillation marks, spaces, and punctuation are not counted as letters.

Why this pattern matters

Pattern 12 complements Pattern 9. The three selected nouns contain 14 letters, and the four remaining words also contain 14 letters. The seven-word verse is therefore divided into two grammatical groups having equal letter totals, each evenly divisible by 7.

How this pattern is measured

Count the letters in the four words not included in the three-noun group—words 1, 2, 4, and 6—and add those four counts together. The pattern is satisfied if the combined letter count is evenly divisible by 7.

Result for Genesis 1:1

6 + 3 + 2 + 3 = 14 letters
14 ÷ 7 = 2, with no remainder

The four words outside the three-noun group contain 14 letters combined, so they satisfy the defined criterion for Pattern 12.

Within the theory’s theological interpretation, 14 = 2 × 7 represents two occurrences of the number 7, which is associated with divine perfection.

Dependency note

Pattern 12 is mathematically dependent on Patterns 2 and 9. Pattern 2 establishes 28 letters in the complete verse, and Pattern 9 establishes 14 letters in the three-noun group. Therefore, the four remaining words must contain 28 − 14 = 14 letters. Pattern 12 is included as a structural complement, not as an independent probability event.

Supporting tables

The first table shows the letter count for each Hebrew word. The highlighted values for words 1, 2, 4, and 6 are used in this calculation: 6 + 3 + 2 + 3 = 14. The numerical-value and alphabet-position tables are included as supporting reference data.

In all three tables, the seven data rows correspond in order to the seven Hebrew words listed in the first table.
