Words and letters are counted in Hebrew reading order using the traditional Masoretic consonantal text. Vowel points, cantillation marks, spaces, and punctuation are excluded.

Why this pattern matters

This pattern examines the two words forming the outer boundaries of the seven-word verse. It applies the same simple selection rule to both words by taking the initial letter of each.

How this pattern is measured

Identify the first and last Hebrew words, take the initial letter of each word, assign their traditional Hebrew numerical values, and add those values. The pattern is satisfied if the total is evenly divisible by 7.

The two initial-letter values total 7, so they satisfy the defined criterion for Pattern 16.

Within the theory’s theological interpretation, 7 is associated with divine perfection.
