Pattern 3: Fourteen Letters in the First Three Hebrew Words

The calculation uses the traditional Masoretic Hebrew consonantal text shown above. Vowel points, cantillation marks, spaces, and punctuation are not counted as letters.

Why this pattern matters

This pattern narrows the focus from the entire verse to its opening three words. It tests whether the same numerical structure appears in a smaller part of the sentence.

How this pattern is measured

Count the letters in the first three Hebrew words of Genesis 1:1. The pattern is satisfied if their total is divisible by 7.

The first three Hebrew words contain 14 letters, so they satisfy the defined criterion for Pattern 3.
