Pattern 4: Twenty-One Letters in the First Five Hebrew Words

The calculation uses the traditional Masoretic Hebrew consonantal text shown above. Vowel points, cantillation marks, spaces, and punctuation are not counted as letters.

Why this pattern matters

This pattern extends the earlier tests by examining a longer opening section of the verse: its first five words. It asks whether the combined letter count of this different contiguous section is also evenly divisible by 7.

How this pattern is measured

Count the letters in each of the first five Hebrew words and add those five counts together. The pattern is satisfied if the combined total is evenly divisible by 7.

Result for Genesis 1:1

The first five Hebrew words contain 21 letters, so they satisfy the defined criterion for Pattern 4.

Within the theory’s theological interpretation, 21 = 3 × 7 combines 3, associated with the Trinity, and 7, associated with divine perfection.

Supporting tables

The first table shows the letter count for each Hebrew word. The five highlighted values are used in this calculation: 6 + 3 + 5 + 2 + 5 = 21. The numerical-value and alphabet-position tables are included as reference data used by later patterns.
