For each of the 28 letters in Genesis 1:1, its character position in the complete verse is multiplied by its traditional numerical value and its alphabet-position value. The 28 resulting values total 915,201, which is evenly divisible by 7.
Pattern 32 combines three properties of every letter: its position in the complete verse, its traditional numerical value, and its position in the Hebrew alphabet. Unlike Patterns 29–31, the positional measurement does not restart at the beginning of each word.
Character positions begin with the first letter of the first word and continue through the entire Hebrew verse. The spaces separating the seven words occupy positions but do not receive letter calculations.
Therefore, the six letters of the first word occupy positions 1 through 6. The first space occupies position 7, so the first letter of the second word occupies position 8. With all six spaces included, the final letter of the verse occupies position 34.
For example, the first word, בראשית, produces the following results:
After the space in position 7, the first letter of the second word occupies position 8:

The tables below provide each letter’s character position in the complete verse, traditional numerical value, and alphabet-position value. The fourth table shows the product of those three values for every letter.
Places and values of all words are highlighted.
