Pattern 9: Fourteen Letters in the Three Hebrew Nouns

Why this pattern matters

This pattern begins a new group based on grammatical role rather than word position. Genesis 1:1 contains three nouns—God, heavens, and earth—which occur as words 3, 5, and 7. This test examines whether their combined letter count is evenly divisible by 7.

How this pattern is measured

Count the letters in the three Hebrew nouns—words 3, 5, and 7— and add those three counts together. The pattern is satisfied if the combined total is evenly divisible by 7.

Result for Genesis 1:1

The three Hebrew nouns contain 14 letters combined, so they satisfy the defined criterion for Pattern 9.

Within the theory’s theological interpretation, 14 = 2 × 7 represents two occurrences of the number 7, which is associated with divine perfection.
