Alphabet-position values assign each Hebrew letter its position from א = 1 through ת = 22. Final letter forms retain the position of their standard forms. Vowel points, cantillation marks, spaces, and punctuation are excluded.

Why this pattern matters

Pattern 21 examines the consecutive three-word group that opens Genesis 1:1. Unlike the preceding patterns, it uses Hebrew alphabet-position values rather than traditional Hebrew numerical values.

The choice to interpret the group of three as representing the Trinity belongs to the theory’s theological interpretation; the numerical calculation itself is simply the total for words 1–3.

How this pattern is measured

Assign each letter in the first three Hebrew words its position in the 22-letter Hebrew alphabet. Add the letter positions within each word, then add the three word totals. The pattern is satisfied if the combined total is evenly divisible by 7.

The alphabet-position totals of the first three words combine to 140, so they satisfy the defined criterion for Pattern 21.

Within the theory’s theological interpretation, the three selected words are associated with the Trinity, while the factor 7 is associated with divine perfection.
